Mr. Bhurtel represented Uber driver who was injured in Motor Vehicle crash. When Uber driver was operating his car on Brooklyn Queens Express way another vehicle operator negligently crashed Uber’s driver’s vehicle and Uber/Lyft driver was injured.
Subsequently this matter was mediated before a Mediator. During the mediation another driver’s Insurance company offered 450,000.00 (four hundred fifty thousand dollars) and it was settled in that amount.
Uber driver also filed workers compensation claim and received medical care and loss of wages benefits from workers compensation carrier.
